We're looking for a self-motivated and dependable Property Maintenance Technician for one of our properties.
The Property Maintenance Technician is responsible for building and grounds cleaning and maintenance.
Qualified candidates will have previous apartment maintenance or similar.
Must have experience with painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing, basic electrical and turning vacant units.

Ridgefield Apartments - 459 Deadmore Street, Abingdon, VA 24210.
Job Type:
Part-time (30 hours per week).
Pay Rate:
$17.
00 per hour, plus a one-time sign-on bonus of $250.
Qualifications:
Two years of property or apartment maintenance experience.
Knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, basic plumbing, basic HVAC, electric, etc.
Basic computer skills.
After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
Ability to lift 50
pounds and climb ladders.
Responsibilities:
Completes all maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
Completes make-ready process of vacant units as directed by the Property Manager, including repairs, cleaning and painting.
Inspects grounds daily for needed repairs such as gutters, downspouts, roofing, siding, water leaks, HVAC units, etc.
Daily trash pickup on complex grounds, including curbs, landscaping, and dumpster areas.
Other related tasks, as assigned.
